Download Festival Release Day Tickets And Announce On-Site Activities

With just over two months to go until this year's Download, the festival have announced a load of amazing on-site activities for the June weekender.

On top of this year's incredible line-up – topped by Def Leppard, Slipknot and Tool – there will be a ton of stuff to do in The Download Village, from metal exercise class RockFit™ to the return of DO.OMYOGA™.

In the former, RockFit™ involves working out to a killer soundtrack of the likes of AC/DC, Guns N' Roses and Metallica (plus bands on the bill), while the latter activity, DO.OMYOGA™, consists of "the ancient Indian practice of Nada Yoga where music and sound become one". Interesting…

On top of that, there will be all sorts of fun things to see and do at the SINDROME Arena, Area 51 and their wandering Caravan of Lost Souls, the death-defying Thunderdome, Demolition Download and the UK Air Guitar Championships, as well as the Circus of Horrors at Download's awesome Doghouse.

Download have also announced that day tickets are on sale for £79.50 plus booking fee – see more info on that here, and get your Download tickets now.
