Exclusive: Listen To Abbath’s New Song Calm In Ire Of Hurricane

Everyone’s favourite Norwegian black metal demon Abbath is back!

Have you ever watched Abbath playing guitar? He bloody loves it. Even in those YouTube vides of him shredding on his own, in his mind, he’s at a stadium on top of a mountain.

And so to Calm In Ire Of Hurricane, the second track to be released from his forthcoming album Outstrider, out on July 5 through Season Of Mist. Check it out below…

The rest of the corpse-painted one’s follow up to 2016’s self-titled solo debut, like the song, is an absolute monster. Consisting of seven tracks of his typically icy, vast black metal excellence and a faithful Bathory cover, it’s one of the black metal highlights of the year. Although why a man so known for his love of winter is releasing it at the height of summer remains a mystery. Still, pre order your copy now!
