Fall Out Boy Are Going To Appear On The Price Is Right Game Show

If you're a fan of rock bands and/or television game shows, then get excited, because Fall Out Boy are set to appear on a very special edition of The Price Is Right.

According to Billboard, the band's own Pete Wentz and Patrick Stump will be joining in the fun on the price-checking franchise as part of the run-up to the 62nd annual GRAMMYs in 2020, with Diplo and Anderson .Paak also scheduled to feature in their own episodes in the same week.

Fall Out Boy's appearance will be taped on December 9 (sign up for the chance to attend right here); the episode will then air on CBS in the week of January 20, 2020, with the GRAMMYs premiering on January 27.

Pete already has plenty of experience appearing on beloved TV shows, of course, having been covered in slime earlier this year for a revival of classic Nickelodeon programme Double Dare.

“I’ve been covered in many substances so far,” he joked at the time on the show. “A lot of cold liquids and orange powder of some kind. I grew up watching it, and I remember them stuffing flags in their shirts and stuff. I always wanted to be on it! I also remember, when I was little, I was like, ‘I’d be able to do all those physical challenges.’ They’re harder! I’ll tell this to little people: they’re harder than I thought…”

In other Fall Out Boy news, the band recently unveiled their new best of album, Greatest Hits: Believers Never Die – Volume Two. We were joined by all four members of the band – that's Pete and Patrick, as well as guitarist Joe Trohman and drummer Andy Hurley – to discuss each song compromising the record on our podcast, Inside Track.

“Sometimes I wake up and I just laugh, because it feels so improbable,” Patrick admits, taking in the Chicago pop-punk titans' post-hiatus career. “It feels so ridiculous and unlikely to me. The odds of us having this second act seemed so infinitely small, that it’s still crazy. It’s beyond surreal.”
