Foo Fighters postpone European tour dates to 2022
The rock legends will now be crossing the pond in 2022, pushing dates back an entire year in Germany, Italy, France, Spain and Portugal.
“We look forward to seeing you at the new dates and can’t wait to be able to play for you,” the band say. “Tickets will remain valid for all rescheduled shows. For more information on your specific show, please visit the original point of purchase.”
“…But I do know that we will do it again, because we have to,” he wrote. “It’s not a choice. We’re human. We need moments that reassure us that we are not alone. That we are understood. That we are imperfect. And, most important, that we need each other.
“I have shared my music, my words, my life with the people who come to our shows. And they have shared their voices with me. Without that audience – that screaming, sweating audience – my songs would only be sound. But together, we are instruments in a sonic cathedral, one that we build together night after night. And one that we will surely build again.”
Foo Fighters’ European tour dates next year now stack up like this:
TBA Berlin, Germany – Waldbühne
12 Milan, Italy – I‑Days
16 Valencia, Spain – Ciudad de Las Artes y Las Ciencias
18 Lison, Portugal – Rock in Rio Lisbon
22 Nimes, France – Festival de Nimes
23 Nimes, France – Festival de Nimes
The best rock drummers on the planet have all had to start somewhere… and for Dave Grohl, that place was his own mouth.
After falling offstage and breaking his ribs at a solo gig on Friday (October 15), Vince Neil is now “back home and resting”.
