Ex-Vital Remains Vocalist Jake Raymond Has Passed Away

His former bandmate has paid his respects…

Jake Raymond, the former vocalist for Providence death metallers Vital Remains has passed away. 

The sad news was announced on the band’s facebook, in a post by founding guitarist, and sole remaining member, Tony Lazaro.

Tony spoke of Jake’s time in the band, and fondly recalled the last time the pair hung out together.

Tony also noted that Jake’s death means three ex-Vital Remains vocalists have now passed away in the last year, after the loss of Scott Wily and Chris Ross. 

Kerrang!‘s thoughts are with Jake’s family and friends at this sad time.
