Go Behind The Scenes On Slipknot’s Recent Tour

Slipknot have released a brilliant recap video from their recent UK and European shows.

As they gear up for their huge Knotfest Roadshow North America tour kicking off at the end of the month, Slipknot have shared an awesome behind-the-scenes video from their recent European run.

The Iowa titans hit various arenas and festivals (including the UK’s own Download) over the past couple of months for a mind-blowing run of shows, with frontman Corey Taylor recently explaining that their production was an “attempt to create some Iron Maiden stuff”.

“Honestly, it’s everything that we’ve wanted to do for years, and we just never had the budget, and we had also had a lot of people around us telling us we couldn’t do it,” he said.

“The show looks amazing. Not only is it interactive – there’s video, there’s fire – but the whole set looks like an industrial complex. This is our attempt to create some Iron Maiden stuff, which is something we’ve been trying to do for a while.”

See what Corey’s talking about in the video below, and pre-order new album We Are Not Your Kind through Roadrunner Records right now.
