Goden's New Song, Twilight, Is The Heaviest Thing You'll Hear Today

Goden features former members of Winter, so what do you expect?

Goden's New Song, Twilight, Is The Heaviest Thing You'll Hear Today

If you're looking for something heavy and dark, Goden have it. Formed by former Winter man Stephen Flam, those in the know of doom will already know what to expect from their new album, Beyond Darkness, out May 8 on Svart Records.

There's a heavy concept, too, with three characters leading you through the haunting nightmare: Stephen Flam as “Spacewinds”, the time and space in which these characters dwell; Vas Kallas as “NXYTA (Goddess of Night)”, lead vocalist and the darkness, and Tony Pinnisi as “The Prophet of Goden”, who speaks in the name of Goden and is the light, plays keyboards and also played in Winter.

Check our the song Twilight below...

"Twilight can be interpreted as an evocation of the fading light of reason progressing to a darker stage – the gloom of ignorance - after which can only follow a return to enlightenment," explains Stephen. "Perhaps now inadvertently symbolic of the situation the world currently faces, and will inevitably overcome..."

So, a positive take. More info can be found on Svart Records.
