Green Day Announce Rescheduled Asia Tour For 2021

Following March’s tour postponement, Green Day have announced the dates they’ll be returning to Asia next year.

After understandably postponing their March tour dates in Asia “due to the health and travel concerns with coronavirus”, Green Day have just rescheduled these shows for 2021.

Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool will be heading back to Asia in March and April next year, stopping in Manila, Taipei, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Seoul, Tokyo, Osaka and Singapore.

Here we go Asia!!” the band say. “Our upcoming dates have been rescheduled to 2021.”

The news follows frontman Billie Joe’s announcement of No Fun Mondays, which will see him releasing new cover songs every week “until we’re let back out into the world”. First came an awesome cover of Tommy James & The Shondells’ I Think We’re Alone Now, and then this past Monday he released a rendition of You Can’t Put Your Arms Around A Memory by Johnny Thunders.

Can’t wait to see what else is on the way…
