Green Day Played Dookie In Full Last Night – Here’s The Set List

Check out the epic set list from Green Day’s one-off, intimate show at the La Riviera venue in Madrid, Spain.

Having teased last week that they’d be performing Dookie in full at the 2,500-capacity La Riviera venue in Madrid, Spain, Green Day made good of their not-so-subtle promises last night.

The punk rock heroes hit Madrid for a one-off show before they take on MTV World Stage Seville on November 2 – and they kicked things off with a hell of an opening: performing their 1994 breakthrough record Dookie in its entirety. They’ve done it in the past, of course, but the show marked the first time some of those songs have been performed live for five/six years (specifically Chump, Pulling Teeth, Sassafras Roots, In The End and All By Myself).

After the 15-song run-through of Dookie, Green Day played an absolute barrage of bangers – from Minority and Holiday to early gems like Paper Lanterns and I Was There. They ended on a one-two punch of American Idiot and Jesus Of Suburbia, the latter being frontman Billie Joe Armstrong’s favourite Green Day song ever. Ooooft.
