In an interview with Rock 100.5 The KATT's Cameron Buchholtz, the Halestorm leader said that the band will focus on the follow-up to 2018's Vicious in "late spring", and that there's plenty of leftover material that "wasn't even recorded" for the full-length.
"We've pretty much decided that in late spring, I think we're gonna settle down and just focus on doing another record," Lzzy says. "It's crazy, after we finished the last record, Vicious, we had so much material that wasn't even recorded; we had a lot of material that was recorded that wasn't even included on the record.
"Since then, we have about two albums' worth of material," she continues. "So it's almost like Vicious was a launchpad for all this new stuff to come. So I can't wait to actually get it down and show it to everybody."

Halestorm will be returning to the UK later this year for an arena tour with In This Moment and New Years Day.
"We've been wanting to put together a tour like this for a long time," said Lzzy at the time of the tour's announcement. "We are some of the hardest working women in rock, so the fact that we are all on the same stage every night is something not to be missed! We support and love each other, and we are representing our genre. This line-up is a beautiful display of what it means to be a strong female example for rock fans everywhere."
