Having proven his acting skills doing a dopily magnificent job playing Tommy Lee from Mötley Crüe in The Dirt last year, Machine Gun Kelly returned to screens last Friday in new Netflix superhero-movie-with-a-twist, Project Power.

In it, a new drug emerges which gives the user an incredible power for a few minutes. In MGK’s case, it makes him hot and fiery. When cop Art (Jamie Foxx) turns up at his apartment to find out where he got the drugs and who’s making it, the pair end up having a punch up while The ’Gun is on actual fire.

Well, not actually on fire. Here’s a Netflix special effects boffin to explain how they did it…

In non-fiery-fists-flying stuff, Machine Gun Kelly’s had a busy old time with music as well. There’s been his Lockdown Sessions covers, he’s released a new pop-punk jam with blink-182’s Travis Barker, concert for aliens, and has been prepping his new album.

Somehow, he’s also found time to solve the conundrum of what the title of blink-182’s Take Off Your Pants And Jacket is getting at. Busy man. Busy man…
