Hollywood Vampires Joined Onstage By Marilyn Manson And Steven Tyler
On Saturday night (May 11), the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles was treated to a special night of rock’n’roll royalty. Not only were Hollywood Vampires (Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp and Joe Perry) in town for a headline show, but they were joined onstage by Marilyn Manson and Steven Tyler. Oh, y’know, just The God Of Fuck and Aerosmith frontman showing up for some guest vocals like it’s no big deal.
You can watch footage of Manson and Steven with Hollywood Vampires below.
Hollywood Vampires’ upcoming album Rise will be released on June 21 via earMUSIC.
“Rise is not only a totally different animal than the first Vampires album, it is unique to anything I’ve ever been a part of,” says Alice Cooper. “I approached it very differently than I usually do when working on an album. Each of us; Joe, Johnny, Tommy (Henriksen, producer and guitarist) and myself have written songs on this album.
“What is different though, is that I didn’t try to change any songs to be more ‘Alice-like.’ Because each of us have different influences, the sound of this album is very cool. I think that with this album, we are establishing what the Vampires’ sound really is, whereas with the first album we were more tipping our hats to our fallen rock n roll brothers.”
