Iron Maiden's Aces High Played In Flamenco Style

Two guitarists give Iron Maiden's Aces High the flamenco treatment

Iron Maiden's Aces High Played In Flamenco Style

Love Iron Maiden? You've probably not heard them sound like this before.

Guitarists Thomas Zwijsen and Ben Woods have reimagined Maiden's 1984 classic Aces High in the styles of Spanish flamenco and classical fingerstyle, or as they put it, "Nylon Maiden/Flametal".

The video shows the pair noodling away on a bridge and next to a lake, which we can all agree, are the most suitable locations for Flametal.

But this track isn't a one-off cover for the sake of YouTube fame, the pair have released an entire album of Spanish guitar takes on rock and metal classics called Master Guitar Tour, which includes God Gave Rock ‘N Roll To You by KISS and The Unforgiven by Metallica.

Check out Thomas Zwijsen on YouTube to see his versions of System Of A Down, Dio and Black Sabbath classics.
