Is Slipknot’s New Drummer Trolling Fans?

Slipknot’s new guy knows what you’re all thinking

A photo has appeared on Reddit, supposedly showing Slipknot’s mysterious new drummer poking fun at fans who are obsessed by his identity.

The as-yet-unnamed percussionist is currently known to many maggots as Tortilla Man (a reference to the crispy shell-like texture of his mask), and it doesn’t look like we’ll be finding out who the anonymous drummer is any time soon.

This burning desire to find out the identity of Slipknot’s newest recruit hasn’t gone unnoticed, as the image below shows. Posted by Reddit user Conflixshuns, the unverified photo shows the words ‘Who is the new guy?’ scrawled across one of said new guy’s drums, with accompanying body outline and question mark.

It also kind of looks like he’s appearing on The Weakest Link.

There has been much speculation about who the new guy is, and the chances of us finding out any time soon are slim. Slipknot appear to be keeping this secret very close to their chests, with Clown telling Kerrang! back in May that it’s “nobody’s fucking business.”

Slipknot’s new album We Are Not Your Kind will be released August 9 via Roadrunner Records. Pre-order your copy now.
