WELCOME BACK, GOOD SIR!

Listen To Steven Battelle’s Debut Solo Single!

LostAlone’s mad musical genius is back with a brand new solo record

It’s been far, far too long since we last heard from Steven Battelle after K! favourites LostAlone called it a day… but now he’s officially back! Not only has he recorded a stunning cover of Iron Maiden‘s The Red And The Black for our new All-Star Iron Maiden Tribute CD in our current issue, today (June 8) he’s also revealed details of his first solo album, titled Exit Brain Left, which is due out later this year. To whet our appetite, he’s also given us our first glimpse of what’s in store via the utterly brilliant single The Jump – which was produced by Dan Weller (Enter Shikari, Sikth, LostAlone, Young Guns).

Speaking about the track, Steven says: “The Jump is the first song I wrote for the record, right at the beginning of my travels. The foreboding literal narrative of the lyric feels like an introduction to all that will transpire on the rest of the record. The Jump is about reconciling the voice in my head telling me to take that leap of faith, knowing everything will change once the metaphorical leap occurs.

You can listen to the song now via Soundcloud below and, even better, you can DOWNLOAD IT FOR FOR FREE HERE!
