Machine Gun Kelly, Creeper, iDKHOW, Boston Manor and more announced for Reading & Leeds 2021
Over 90-plus names will be joining the already-announced likes of Queens Of The Stone Age, YUNGBLUD, Neck Deep and FEVER 333 this coming August, with the festival also revealing stage splits across the weekend.
While he’s very high up on the main stage billing here, speaking to Kerrang! last year about the idea of perhaps headlining a festival like Reading & Leeds one day, MGK said, “The statement ‘one day’… I don’t like the way that statement makes me feel. It seems too out of reach. I’m sick of people telling me to wait. I’m sick of people telling me that a dream can be achieved if I do this, this, this and this, or that I’ve got ‘this’ but I’m missing ‘that’. You’ve got ‘that’ but you’re missing ‘this’. ‘One day’ is what you tell a boy who doesn’t know better; I know that I will headline festivals; I know that I will headline Reading & Leeds.
“I know the world likes to put dreams out of your reach,” he added. “But I’m just realising that what I’m reaching for is right here.”
