Marshall's Creative Origins series unites musicians with artists to create unique amplifiers
Marshall amps are famed the world over for their iconic look. That powerful black box, emblazoned with the iconic white logo, have been seen on countless stages and in thousands of music videos for decades. But sometimes you need more, you need an amp that looks the way your music sounds, and that's where Marshall's Creative Origins project comes in.
Marshall have paired up three musicians with three visual artists to create one-of-a-kind amplifiers, designed to encompass the sound and feel of each guitarist's music.
As you can see in the three videos below, each musician is given a Marshall Origin 50C to try out. Inspired by their playing, a visual artist will modify and redesign the amp to resemble the sounds it blasts out. Like Marshall say on the Creative Origins website, "Standout music deserves a stand out look."
