Over the past few months, Kerrang! have been reporting on Metallica's many charitable donations of late – from €250,000 to a Pediatric Oncology and Radiotherapy Hospital in Romania, to £40,000 to a homeless charity in Manchester.

Now, it's been revealed that the metal kings – along with their All Within My Hands Foundation – gave away a whopping €1.5 million to local charities across the 25 dates of their European WorldWired… tour this year, which is an absolutely incredible amount of money.
