Metallica Launch T-Shirt Day To Celebrate ... And Justice For All Reissue

Over the course of their career, Metallica have done it all: multiple stadium tours, a feature film, a show in the Arctic Circle and have sold millions of albums to fans across the world.

And now, to celebrate the reissue of their 1988 album, ...And Justice For All, they've somehow convinced some of the most iconic statues and historic figures to wear their merchandise as part of a Metallica T-shirt day!

US astronaut Buzz Aldrin, the Statue of Liberty, the Little Mermaid, Christ the Redeemer, and the Fearless Girl are all pictured wearing shirts bearing the iconic Lady Justice artwork by Stephen Gorman. Even Michelangelo's David has taken part, although we think he could have worn some underpants.

"It’s Metallica T-Shirt Day!" reads a statement from the band. "Show off your favourite Metallica t-shirt. Got one that says ..And Justice For All? Even better! Use #MetallicaTShirtDay and show us what you’ve got. One lucky winner will receive a …Justice deluxe box set!"

So what are you waiting for?

Metallica recently announced a massive European Worldwired stadium tour, including two stops in London and Manchester.

The metal heroes will be hitting Manchester’s Etihad Stadium on June 18, 2019, and then London’s Twickenham Stadium on June 20. Huge!

“We’re returning to Europe in the summer of 2019 for a run of outdoor gigs at stadiums, parks, and even one at a castle!” the band say. “Our friends Ghost and Bokassa will be joining us along the way.”
