Following Lars Ulrich's comments last week that Metallica are "in a very healthy place" right now, the band were able to demonstrate just how good things are in their camp over the weekend with a wonderful charity livestream to benefit their All Within My Hands Foundation.

After initially announcing the event as an acoustic set from their California headquarters, the metal titans surprised fans watching online with a 14-song performance that was half-acoustic and half-electric, with reworkings of their own classics, and covers of songs by Deep Purple, Bob Seger and The Animals.
