Metallica! twenty one pilots! Placebo! Muse! Faith No More! Deftones! Mad Cool Festival 2022 looks absolutely mega…

The line-up for Mad Cool Festival 2022 has been announced, and as well as featuring an absolute ton of amazing bands and artists, it’s also a good indication of who we can hopefully expect to see touring Europe next summer.

Metallica, twenty one pilots and Placebo will headline the first day of the Madrid fest – Wednesday, July 6 – and they’ll be joined by the likes of YUNGBLUD, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Thrice, FEVER 333 and Creeper. The following day features a Deftones performance, with Imagine Dragons and The Killers topping the bill.

Then, on Friday, July 8, the awesome Muse and Faith No More will headline, while Kings Of Leon and Pixies close out proceedings on the Sunday (Royal Blood will also be performing on that day). Phew.

Beyond psyched to finally say this… coming for ya, Europe!” posted Lars Ulrich on Instagram as part of a wider Metallica European tour announcement. After what will be too fucking long, announcing the first seven festival dates for next summer!

Check for the dates and believe me… counting the seconds until we’re reunited!”
