Metallica’s Enter Sandman Has Been Recreated In Animal Crossing

One Metallica fan has created Enter Sandman as their island tune in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

We’ve already seen many metalheads getting in on the Animal Crossing: New Horizons fun, with characters donning badass Slipknot, Rammstein, and Slayer merch to show off their favourite bands as they explore their own little worlds. Now, one gamer has one-upped everyone else by making Metallicas Enter Sandman their island tune.

For the uninitiated, these tunes are basically just a way to customise the music that the user hears when they talk to someone, enter a building, or when an hour passes. According to Gamer Journalist, some popular options so far have been the Avengers theme, Frozen’s Do You Want To Build A Snowman?, the Michael Myers Halloween theme, and the Doctor Who theme (we sense a common denominator here).

Quiz: How well do you know Metallica’s lyrics?

This Reddit user, however, opted for something altogether heavier. Well – not that much heavier, given the cute melody that comes from the frog. Nevertheless, Metallica’s 1991 smash single Enter Sandman makes for a pretty ace island tune, and we’re excited to see what other metal numbers might now be reworked into Animal Crossing form…

Fuck yeah.

In other Tallica news, the band recently launched #MetallicaMondays, a weekly concert series in which they will unveil a full stream of an old live performance via YouTube for fans to enjoy and break their boredom.
