New 'Ozzy For President' Merch Line Launched

Good news, people! Ozzy Osbourne is running for president… at least, according to his ace new merch line.

The heavy metal icon jokingly launched his candidacy via a bunch of new merch after Kanye West announced that he is running for President of the United States on July 4 ("We must now realise the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future…").

After Mike Shinoda then followed suit ("I, too am running for president* *have new music out"), The Prince Of Darkness hopped aboard the political (crazy) train and launched an 'Ozzy For President' merch line.

Featuring T-shirts, hoodies, stickers, buttons and even a fancy lithograph, it's a wicked range for metalheads to proudly display who they stand behind at the upcoming U.S. election… never mind the fact that Ozzy was born in Birmingham and therefore wouldn't qualify in the first place.

Of course, it has been petitioned for years that Ozzy should be knighted in the UK, with Helen Maidiotis reasoning of her longtime Change.org campaign: "For five decades Mr. Osbourne has entertained the world with his music. He has worked tirelessly in bringing us the very best in entertainment from the days as the original front man for Black Sabbath in 1968, till the present day with his endless stamina, drive and commitment in the music business."

While the knighthood is still yet to come, maybe we could see a President Of Darkness in 2020? Hmm…
