Nothing But Thieves Drop New Single, Is Everybody Going Crazy?

Listen to Nothing But Thieves’ bold new single.

New Nothing But Thieves! The Southend quintet have just dropped their first new track since their 2018 EP, What Did You Think When You Made Me This Way.

The band’s new single goes by the name Is Everybody Going Crazy?, and was produced by Mike Crossey (The 1975, The Gaslight Anthem, twenty one pilots).

Of the track, Nothing But Thieves explain:

“There is a quiet sadness about the verses. The character in the song doesn’t understand the world around themselves or relate to the people in it. What they once thought were the principles or morals they were meant to follow no longer seem to apply. Others seem to revel in the lunacy.

In a place like that, it makes you realise that you need something to hang onto, like an anchor. There are a few elements of escapism throughout the song, whether it is through another person, stealing a moment to switch off or changing their mentality.”

Nothing But Thieves recently played a tiny London show for BRITs Week Together With O2 For War Child 2020. Stay tuned for more news from the band when we have it.
