After Of Mice & Men canceled last night's performance, frontman Aaron Pauley was taken to the hospital and went through what the singer describes as "one of the scariest nights of my life."

Last night, metalcore crew Of Mice & Men had to cancel their Hartford, Connecticut, show when frontman Aaron Pauley was rushed to the hospital with an unspecified medical emergency.

The band tweeted this message yesterday, apologizing for canceling on such short notice but stressing the seriousness of the situation:

At 9:23 PM local time, Aaron himself tweeted that he was getting checked out by EMTs after a "scare."

Finally, at about half past five in the morning local time, Aaron tweeted that he was being released and was cleared to perform, but stressed that he'd had one hell of a night:

Aaron's medical emergency hasn't yet been identified, but it sounds serious enough to warrant a canceled show. What matters is that he's healthy, and excited to be returning to the stage in front of his fans.
