Rammstein Tease A New Video For Friday

Rammstein have posted a new teaser trailer for Radio, the next video from their upcoming new album.

If Rammstein have proved one thing this year, it’s that they know how to make an awesome music video. The video for Deutschland, the first single off of their upcoming self-titled album, was a sprawling piece of cinema that left fans and critics alike scrambling to translate the lyrics and decipher the meaning of what they’d seen. Now, the band are teasing another new video, this one for their track Radio, that’s set to drop this Friday.

Similar to that of Deutschland, the Radio video appears to delve into German history, focusing on the early days of radio technology. There’s guitarist Richard Kruspe (or a bespectacled man who looks a lot like him) listening in on a gigantic radio, seemingly picking up the band’s song from somewhere. It’s almost like humankind is discovering Rammstein’s music out in the ether, beamed in from another planet or dimension…but maybe we’re getting ahead of ourselves. The point is, the teaser ends with a title card featuring the date ‘26.04.2019’, meaning we’ll get the video Friday.

Check out the teaser for Radio below:
