Rob Zombie’s 3 From Hell Gets Official Release Date, Poster Art

Rob Zombie’s long-awaited new film will come out this September.

Fans of Rob Zombie’s movies have been waiting intently for an official release date for 3 From Hell, the much-anticipated third film in the director’s Firefly Family trilogy. Now, they can mark their calendars, as Rob has officially given the film a release date, and has released new poster art along with it.

According to Bloody Disgusting, 3 From Hell will hit 900 select theaters on September 16th, 17th, and 18th this year, with each date promising a special feature for fans. On September 16th, attendees will get to see a special video introduction to the film from Rob himself, and the first 50 people in attendance will get a free movie poster. On the 17th, audiences will get a 30-minute behind-the-scenes video from Rob before the movie. And on the 18th, theaters will be showing a double feature event, with 3 From Hell playing back-to-back with The Devil’s Rejects.

“This event is a long time coming,” says Zombie. “The journey of these characters has always been special to me and I am thrilled to finally let the fans experience the next episode of the Firefly madness. This project was a true labor of love for everyone involved and we know we have created something amazing for the loyal followers of these films. Let the insanity begin!”

On top of that, the official poster art for 3 From Hell has been released. It definitely goes hard on the Manson Family vibe with the individual mugshots lined up at the bottom. Check it out below:
