To coincide with Nikki Sixx's upcoming memoir, SIXX:A.M. have announced a new album, Hits.

The band will be releasing their new "20-song tracklist of hits, new and unreleased tracks" on October 22, following the release of the musician's book two days prior. It features six unheard songs, including The First 21, which is inspired by the name of Nikki's memoir (which is called The First 21: How I Became Nikki Sixx).

Read this: Nikki Sixx: "The Dirt was warts’n’all… I don’t know how we survived”

Nikki previously said of his memoir: "You’ve heard the tales of excess and debauchery. All the peaks and the valleys that came with rock’n’roll stardom and my life in one of the world’s biggest bands. This is the story that you haven’t heard. The one that led up to those stories.

"It’s the intimate, personal story of how an innocent Idaho farm boy with a burning dream and desire – for music, for love, and for fame – became the notorious Nikki Sixx. I believe our first 21 years have a lot to do with shaping who we become. These are my first 21, and it’s my hope that they thrill and inspire you to invest in your own, biggest dreams.”

Today, SIXX:A.M. share Skin (Rock Mix), which – along with a new accompanying lyric video – boasts 'a heavier, more anthemic sonic experience'. Check that out below:
