Slipknot Release Another Terrifying Teaser Video

Slipknot have tweeted a creepy new teaser video.

It looks like Slipknot are ramping things up in preparation for an expected Thursday reveal and their performance this Friday on Jimmy Kimmel Live! The band tweeted a teaser video earlier with the caption ‘We are not your kind,’ in which fans are insisting that they’re able to see the band’s new masks. Now, they’ve tweeted another teaser video, titled How Dare You Martyr Me, and it’s skin-crawlingly creepy.

The video, like the previous one, is mostly images from Slipknot’s previous album sleeves and band photos, though it culminates with a face wrapped in some sort of sheer fabric grinning malevolently. What’s interesting is that there seems to be a specific emphasis on the cover of 2014’s .5: The Gray Chapter, which references deceased bassist Paul Gray. One can’t help but wonder if the martyr referenced in the caption refers to Gray himself. Meanwhile, the fact that the caption is title cased — with every first letter capitalized — suggests that it’s a track from the new album.

Watch the teaser below and judge for yourself:

Chilling. We can’t wait for Thursday.
