Slipknot Release Video For Nero Forte

Watch Slipknot’s new video for Nero Forte, the latest single from We Are Not Your Kind

Slipknot have just released a new video for their track Nero Forte, the fourth single to be taken from their latest album We Are Not Your Kind.

“It’s very percussive, and reminiscent of Psychosocial [from 2008’s All Hope Is Gone] – but maybe an evolution of Psychosocial,” guitarist Jim Root told Kerrang! back in August. “Obviously Clown is a drummer and percussionist, but he’s also a songwriter – and he always has been. Now we’re able to collaborate as songwriters, and this is what we end up with.

When Corey came in and started diving into the vocals, he came up with this extra melody in the chorus line, very late into the process. That really drew me into this song.”

Nero Forte follows Birth Of The Cruel, Solway Firth and Unsainted, which were released over the summer as Slipknot tore through some of Europe’s biggest festivals.

The mesmeric, multicoloured video was directed by Clown himself, and comes just days after Slipknot announced they would be staging the very first Knotfest UK in August next year.

Taking place at Milton Keynes Bowl on August 22, 2020, the full lineup is yet to be announced, but you can be The ‘Knot have something special planned.

Knotfest is also taking to the high seas next summer, as the very first Knotfest cruise sets sail from Barcelona, Spain, on August 10.

If you can’t wait until next summer to see Slipknot, as they’re touring the UK and Ireland in January 2020 with Behemoth. Get your tickets here.
