We’ve got a double dose of awesome Slipknot news today: the band have announced the return of their incredible Knotfest event – in their home state of Iowa – and officially confirmed that they hit the studio last month.

The band will be headlining the September fest at National Balloon Classic Field in Indianola, with an amazing bill supporting them: Faith No More, Megadeth, Lamb Of God, $uicide Boy$, Gojira, Trivium, FEVER 333, Tech N9ne, Knocked Loose, Turnstile, Gatecreeper and Vended.
