Someone Got Arrested For Stealing Kiss Memorabilia From A Storage Unit In West Texas

The Dallas News reports a 50-year-old man has been accused of stealing a giant collection of Kiss memorabilia — and a lone Star Wars action figure — from a storage unit in the city of San Angelo, West Texas.

The victim called police December 29 after discovering that his collection of Kiss shirts, records, action figures and magazines and an anomalous Star Wars toy had been taken from his unit at Southland Storage in West Texas.

The burglary was caught by surveillance video, and a tip led police to a certain Michael W. Roehr (pictured above). He was followed to an address where police searched the home and seized a portion of the collection, which was then returned to the victim.

Police had no estimate of the collection's value, which is the result of 40 years of collecting, The Associated Press reported.

Roehr was arrested and taken to the Tom Green (no relation) County Jail. He has been charged with burglary of a building, burglary of a habitation and possession of a controlled substance. Bail is set at $15000.
