Soundgarden Members To Reunite For The First Time Since Chris Cornell's Death

For the first time since Chris Cornell's death, Soundgarden drummer Matt Cameron and guitarist Kim Thayil will be performing together on June 8.

Appearing at Denmark's Northside Festival, sticksman Matt will be joining the MC50 a group assembled by original MC5 guitarist Wayne Kramer, also featuring Don Was on bass, and Marcus Durant from Zen Guerrilla on vocals – as a special guest for the day.

So far, this looks like it's just a one-off. But keep your eyes peeled for more…

As reported by Alternative Nation, Soundgarden bassist Ben Shepherd hasn't yet made a public appearance of this nature since Chris passed away.

Check out the rest of the MC50 tour dates – minus Matt Cameron – right here.
