Static-X Reveal Masked Touring Vocalist, Announce North American and European Tour

Static-X have posted a video featuring their masked new frontman, a re-recorded classic, and full American and European tour dates.

Last year, disco metal pioneers Static-X announced they would reunite in tribute to deceased frontman Wayne Static, and later announced a North American tour with Devildriver and Dope in tow. Now, the band have posted a video that features their touring vocalist, dressed in a Wayne Static mask and beard, performing a re-recorded version of the band’s classic Bled For Days. Not only that, but they’ve also announced tour dates for the UK and Europe as well.

In the video, remaining members Ken Jay, Tony Campos, and Koichi Fukuda discuss the upcoming tour and the band’s touring frontman, though they never reveal his name (word on the street is it’s Edsel Dope, frontman for Dope). The band’s new frontman is then shown wearing a Slipknot-ish Wayne Static mask and performing a re-recorded version of Bled For Days off of the band’s 1999 debut Wisconsin Death Trip.

Check out the video below:

Not only that, but the band have announced extensive tour dates in North America, the UK, and Europe, with openers including Devildriver, Dope, Wednesday 13, Soil, and more. So if you want to guess at the new frontman of Static-X in person, you can do so at one of the maaaany many dates below:
