Code Orange have announced a London headline show
Code Orange are set to warm up for Download Festival with a headline date at The Dome in London this June.
We're as confused and excited as you are.
Yeah, we know right? Understated British electronic-indie band Alt-J teaming up with Pennsylvania's most devastating, Code Orange. We didn't see it coming, but we feel like it might be pretty cool.
If you think about it, it's not the most unlikely thing in the world: both bands sound like they might have listened to Nine Inch Nails quite a lot in their time, certainly, and the slower-paced electronic moments on Code Orange's records might have occasionally stumbled into Alt-J territory prior to this collaboration.
We wish we could tell you more about what they've been up to together, but all the info we've got is contained in the below enigmatic tweet:
Roll on tomorrow morning, eh?
If you're unfamiliar with the recorded output of Alt-J, let these two very stoned men bring you up to speed:
A little reductive and unfair to poor Alt-J, but good fun nevertheless.
