System Of A Down Members Are In The Studio

THIS IS EXCITING

It’s been so long since we had new music from System Of A Down. So, so, so long.

We’re probably not going to get a follow-up to 2005’s Hypnotize any time soon, but we might be getting something SOAD-related, because drummer John Dolmayan and bassist Shavo Odadjian have posted about being in the studio together.

Great song ideas flowing from a very strong song writer. Stay tuned @shavoodadjian,” wrote John.

Now, obviously guitarist Daron Malakian and frontman Serj Tankian were nowhere to be seen, and the songs could just be for John’s These Grey Men project (although that’s been a strictly covers band up until now), or for a new project altogether. But we might as well get excited anyway.

Now, listen to some System while we wait for the guys to release whatever this is.
