The Outlaw Torn Voted The Most Underrated Metallica Song
Tonight, the Kerrang! presents the Hardwired… And Early Dayz exhibition – a celebration of Metallica’s legacy, as told through the pages of Kerrang! magazine, memorabilia, rare photography and much more.
Running from June 18 to September 1, the special exhibition takes place at the House Of Vans in London, and will be soundtracked by Metallica’s most underrated tunes – as picked by you. We held a public for for fans to vote for the Metallica track they think is the most underrated, which will then be turned into a playlist to soundtrack the exhibition. And we can now reveal that The Outlaw Torn has been named the most underrated Metallica song of all time, receiving most votes from thousands of fans. In fact, four tracks from the band’s 1996 album Load made it into the top 10, and even one track from the divisive St. Anger album.
