The Smashing Pumpkins Have Released Two More New Songs
The Smashing Pumpkins have got a lot of new material to give fans this year in the shape of a new 20-song double album, Cyr – and they’ve just unveiled two more tracks from the record ahead of its release.
The follow-up to 2018’s Shiny And Oh So Bright, Vol. 1 / LP: No Past. No Future. No Sun is due out on November 27 via Sumerian Records, with the band already sharing the title-track,The Colour Of Love, Confessions Of A Dopamine Addict and Wrath. And now, they’ve unveiled two more new songs: Anno Satana and Birch Grove, as well the third episode of their In Ashes five-part series.
“The original story is something I’ve written and although it’s mostly lighthearted, In Ashes does address many things we face each day,” explains frontman Billy Corgan. “That is… if… we live in dystopia, or paradise, or both. The choice, some say, is yours; and could even be a quantum issue.”
