The So So Glos Premiere New Single, Dancing Industry
Awesome rock straight outta New York!
Awesome.
The So So Glos are premiering their new cover of ’60s protest song Eve Of Destruction.
Ahead of their upcoming ‘Brexit From The USA’ tour next month (full dates below), the New York rockers are making a statement with their latest track. Check it out below, and let us know what you think in the comments!
“In a post Trump/Brexit world, the significance of the protest song is greater now than it’s ever been,” says lead vocalist and bassist, Levi Zaru (Aleksander). “Given the current state of pop music, it’s hard to believe that this track made it all the way to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1965. Although, If you take a deeper look at the political climate of the ’60s and the counterculture movement that emerged, it makes sense. History has a way of repeating. We hope that this song finds a new generation of ears and fists that need to hear the truth embedded within it. Long live the protest song.”
The So So Glos’ new album, Kamikaze, is set for release on November 25 via Votiv Music – pre-order it now at this link.
