The Wonder Years Have Covered R.E.M.

That’s me in the corner…’

The Wonder Years have covered R.E.M.’s Losing My Religion ahead of their forthcoming U.S. shows next month.

The pop-punks premiered the track via Amazon Music, launching it on their Control Alt Repeat playlist.

“There are six of us in the band and so a quick consensus on anything can be a challenge, but when the opportunity came up to do a cover song of Losing My Religion, we quickly seized the idea,” the band say. “We spent a few days trying to find a way for our big, loud band to play a song that originally is based around a mandolin and found something that we were really excited to release for everyone to hear.”

Check out the Control Alt Repeat playlist below, or if you’ve got an Alexa-enabled device, ask: “Alexa, play Losing My Religion by The Wonder Years.”
