Till Lindemann Has Released Another Book For National Geographic

That’s right: the Rammstein frontman has made a second German language book for National Geographic…

It’s good practice to expect the unexpected with Till Lindemann. And then, when he does something unexpected, expect it to be very Till Lindemann. A couple of years ago, he and his buddy Joey Kelly made a book for National Geographic based on a trip to the Yukon, entitled Yukon: Mein gehasster Freund (My Hated Friend). Now, the pair have returned with their second book, Amazonas: Reise Zum Rio Javari (Amazon: Journey To The Rio Javari). Here they are on the cover holding a massive snake…

It’s been quite the year for Till: in February, he played a storming UK show with his Lindemann band; then two weeks ago it was announced that he and co-conspirator Peter Tägtgren were going their separate ways.

Rammstein were meant to do a massive stadium tour, even more massive than the one they did last summer; that got paused, but they’ve been showing that they’re in the studio. Which for Rammstein, a band who regard being forthcoming with the same suspicion one might look at an email asking for your bank details, is quite the different state of affairs than usual.

And they’ve rescheduled their shows for next year. You can now catch Rammstein in the UK and Europe at the following dates next year:
