Tom DeLonge Has Recently Spoken To Mark Hoppus About When He’ll Return To blink-182

Former blink-182 frontman Tom DeLonge has discussed his return to the band with Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker.

Following Tom DeLonge’s recent comments to Kerrang! about returning to blink-182 one day in the future, the vocalist and guitarist has revealed he’s also spoken to his former bandmates about it.

After explaining that he knows “there’s going to be people that are wanting blink”, Tom told K!: “I get it – trust me, I love blink and it’s given me everything in my life. And, you know, I plan on doing it in the future. But right now there’s just no way – I have way too much going on because Angels & Airwaves is a part of To The Stars, and that’s why it works.”

Now, in a new interview with 91X San Diego, Tom followed up by saying: “It hit the press last week I think that – yes everybody – I will play with blink again. That’s the whole plan. I talk to Travis [Barker, drums] all the time, and I talked to Mark [Hoppus, bass] just the other day and we’re always discussing what makes sense and when.”

The Angels & Airwaves leader also added that “there’s creative differences in what I do, and what my brothers in blink do. We like different things, and we like different music – but we’re still good friends and we still support each other.”
