Tool’s Maynard James Keenan Says The Album Won’t Be Done For Summer

Disappointing but not unexpected at this point.

This isn’t really the news anyone wanted to hear, or really even news at this point. Guess what? The new Tool album isn’t going to be ready any time soon.

Maynard James Keenan got involved in a Twitter discussion about the new album, correcting a fan who suggested that he had said both Tool and A Perfect Circle albums would be coming out. Only said new APC,” said Keenan. The thread continued, and one fan mentioned Danny Carey and Adam Jones’ recent comments on the album, so Keenan hammered it home: Not. Coming out this summer. Not.”

Look guys, we’re as frustrated as you are, but you know it’s going to be worth the wait.
