Though the days of huffing dead crows and setting each other on fire are long behind them now, Slipknot clearly haven't slowed down when it comes to their explosive live shows – as Corey Taylor proved at the band's recent Knotfest Iowa.
A new video uploaded by FrontRowOrBust on YouTube shows the frontman signalling the start of Disasterpiece's ultra-heavy breakdown with a somersault, dishing out his signature growl before throwing himself on the ground just two songs into the set.
"Imagine being 50 years old and doing frontflips in a freaking mask," reads the video's top comment (though Corey's actually 47, but close enough!), while another viewer writes: "Corey is such an amazing performer, he always has been. On top of performing in a mask almost everyday, he's getting older and not along ago had double knee surgery, so to see him this active onstage, it's just amazing."

Indeed, speaking to Kerrang! late last year about his health and how he was feeling both post-knee surgery Corey enthused, "As my legs have gotten stronger after my knee surgery I’ve been able to work out more, I’m lifting weights, I’m running 5k every day, so I am trying to stay healthy and stay ready for when everything kicks back in.
"I’m actually in better shape than I was before lockdown – I’ve been able to take advantage of that."
