Watch Corey Taylor Stop A Slipknot Show When The Mosh-Pit Gets Too Dangerous

When a pit got out of control at Saturday night’s Slipknot show, Corey Taylor put a stop to that shit real quick.

It’s easy to get hurt at a Slipknot show — the venue’s dark, the music’s loud, and there are a million people losing their minds at once in there. But at Saturday night’s Slipknot gig in San Bernadino, California, one mosh pit got out of control, prompting frontman Corey Taylor to shut down the gig and make sure his fans were safe. You can watch footage of Corey taking care of business below, via Reddit.

The video, posted to r/Slipknot, shows Corey screaming, “No-one is fucking getting hurt on my fucking watch! Do you understand me? BACK! THE FUCKUP!”

According to commenters on the thread, things at the show were insane enough that the outburst was warranted.

During the huge push on the first song a dude went down near me and was passed out face down on the ground,” said one commenter. “Once we got him up he kept going back out of consciousness and almost falling back down…”

Dude for real! Same in my area!,” said the original poster. “kids and females were on the ground (hurt or unconscious) while people were still running around over them! If Corey (slipknot) hadn’t stopped the song it could of been worse.”
