Watch Lindemann — Featuring Rammstein’s Till Lindemann — Get Deeply Weird In Their New Video, Steh Auf
Earlier this week, we were excited to learn that Lindemann — the supergroup featuring Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann and Hypocrisy/Pain founder Peter Tätgren — had finished their new album, and that they would release a new single later in the week. Now, that single has arrived in the form of Steh Auf, a video featuring Swedish actor Peter Stormare (known for his roles in Fargo, The Big Lebowski, Constantine, and more). You can watch it below.
Anyone familiar with Lindemann, or even Peter Tätgren’s project Pain, knew ahead of time that this video would be anything other than normal or traditionally sane. It opens with Lindemann, Tätgren, and Stormare dressed in fur coats, playing to an empty nightclub. That’s all fine and good…until the hummingbird shows up, and everything is transported to a red, padded room where Tätgren’s pants are suddenly around his ankles. The video then progresses from drowning someone to being taken captive by barbarians, leaving the viewer to scratch their heads in the bewilderment and faint arousal they can always rely on from this project.
Watch Steh Auf below and judge for yourself:
Meanwhile, if you haven’t heard, Till Lindemann is also in a small industrial project named Rammstein who are said to have a pretty fun live show. The band will be touring Europe next year, so make sure to catch them at one of the following dates:
