Watch Metallica’s James Hetfield Rock Out To Slayer In His Car

Not that it should surprise anyone, but Papa Het’s a Slayer fan.

Can you imagine rolling down the road, looking over into the car next to you, and seeing James Hetfield throwing up the horns, drumming on his steering wheel, and singing every word of Slayer’s Angel Of Death? Well, that’s apparently what a few people on the road got to see today, because James, or whoever runs the official Metallica Instagram, posted a video of him doing just that as he speeds down the highway in America while on a break from their WorldWired tour.

At Metallica’s London show at Twickenham stadium, James’s between-song banter consisted a lot of talk about love, gratitude, and how glad he is that heavy music brings people together. So it’s only fitting that he’d find so much joy rocking out to Slayer in his regular life, or write a caption like, “‘SLAYING makes me smile!’ — JH”
