Watch Nandi Bushell’s epic drum cover of My Chemical Romance’s Welcome To The Black Parade
Young musical talent Nandi Bushell has revealed that she’s currently in the midst of an emo phase (it happens to us all, Nandi…), having recently become a fan of the mighty My Chemical Romance. And, to celebrate this momentous discovery, she has shared a brilliant drum cover of the band’s classic single Welcome To The Black Parade.
Dressed in a marching band style jacket, Nandi mimes along to Gerard Way’s iconic vocals before thundering her way through the rest of the 2006 emo classic with her usual infectious enthusiasm behind the drum kit. Yet again, this is truly uplifting stuff.
“I love being able to let out all my energy after a stressful week of home learning and online exams,” she says. “My daddy said I am starting to go through an emophase as I discovered My Chemical Romancethis week! So so so good! I absolutely love Welcome To The Black Parade – such a great song to let it all out to!”
