Watch This 10-Year-Old's Energetic Drum Cover Of Green Day's Basket Case

Following her crushing guitar, bass and drum cover of Audioslave's Cochise earlier in the month (using an axe gifted by Tom Morello, no less), 10-year-old musical sensation Nandi Bushell has now tackled something on the pop-punk end of the spectrum: Green Day's smash single Basket Case.

Unsurprisingly, the young star's rendition is just as energetic and infectious as the original, as Nandi channels her inner Tré Cool and smashes every single speedy drum fill that's thrown into the song. Is there anything that she can't do? We're betting the answer is an emphatic, 'No.'

"I love Green Day!" she writes in the description of the cover video. "I really enjoy jamming out to punk songs! Lots of energy, I can just let it all out. Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool loving your work! Basket Case is awesome!" Hell yeah it is.

After pop star Shakira unveiled a Green Day-approved vocal cover of Basket Case last year, and now Nandi has released a drum performance of the 1994 single, we're starting to wonder if there's a secret supergroup tribute band for the Oakland heroes forming…
