Watch This 12-Year-Old Crush A Fall Out Boy Drum Cover On America's Got Talent

A recent episode of America's Got Talent took a particularly awesome turn last month as 12-year-old musician Jacob Velazquez knocked out a surprise drum cover of Fall Out Boy's Centuries towards the end of his audition.

After performing his own original song on the piano at first, Jacob then crosses the stage to unveil a full drum kit as the appropriate opening lyrics – 'Some legends are told / Some turn to dust or to gold / But you will remember me / Remember me, for centuries' – of Fall Out Boy's epic 2014 single ring out. Then, he channels his inner Andy Hurley and absolutely crushes his cover.

What's even more inspiring than seeing this young rocker wow Simon Cowell and co. is that Jacob has a pervasive developmental disorder, and as he explains to the judges beforehand, "I want to be on America's Got Talent to show people that just because you have some kind of disability or some kind of diagnosis doesn't mean you aren't capable of great things."
